1963 Fender Tremolux Head + Cab, Blonde - Export version

1963 Fender Tremolux Head + Cab, Blonde - Export version

1963 Fender Tremolux Head & 2x10 Cabinet - Blonde / Jensen Speakers - Brownface Magic and an export model which means you can use this anywhere in the world without an external transformer.
A decent example of early-’60s Fender tone, this 1963 Tremolux head and matching 2x10" blonde cabinet capture the warm, dynamic sound of the Brownface era but in blonde - a golden period when Fender amps combined rich harmonic depth with the emerging clarity that would define their later Blackface designs.
Powered by a pair of 6L6GCs, the Tremolux delivers around 35 watts of beautifully responsive power. It’s the perfect sweet spot between studio and stage - offering shimmering cleans at lower volumes and smooth, organic overdrive when pushed. The tube-driven bias tremolo provides that unmistakable, pulsing modulation that makes this model so beloved among vintage amp enthusiasts.
This example features the original blonde tolex with q few tears here and there, with wheat grille cloth (also with tears!), presenting beautifully with honest, natural, gig related aging. The matching Fender 2x10 cabinet is loaded with replacement Jensen speakers, delivering tight, articulate lows and smooth upper mids that complement the amp’s lush breakup perfectly. It would have originally had Oxfords which are not up to bass duties that these amps were originally used for back in the 60's.
Circuitry remains faithful to the original 6G9-B Tremolux design, with any servicing carried out to maintain performance and reliability while preserving originality.
In good, used vintage condition, this Tremolux sounds absolutely glorious — touch-sensitive, harmonically rich, and quintessentially Fender. A true gem from the Brownface era, representing the transition between Tweed warmth and Blackface sparkle.
A rig that’s equally ready for the studio or the stage — some say the 1963 Tremolux is one of the most musical and inspiring amps Fender made.
